Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Make a slit in the half of the breast, creating a pocket, but make sure not to cut all the way through. Stuff the pocket with your grated cheese and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.

Step 2

Close the breast and wrap the chicken in the bacon, making sure the ends are tucked underneath. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a little olive oil.

Step 3

Place the seasoned chicken into the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes. Remember to turn them over halfway through to cook evenly on both sides. Depending on the size of the breast, you may need to cook for longer. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 75°C.

Step 4

When the chicken is cooked all the way through and the bacon is crispy, drizzle over the rest of the BBQ sauce. Garnish with some fresh herbs if you like.
