Budget Air Fryer Dinners
Here's a meal plan I've made if you fancy some low cost family dinners. You can add these to your plans and customise if you want to change the days or swap some recipes!
Air Fryer Pork Noodles
We love a fake-away stir fry in our house, and these air fryer pork noodles are so tasty! And when cooked in your air fryer, the noodles come out just like you get in a take-away. This is a super quick mid-week meal that all the family will enjoy. And one that you can easily sneak in some veggies too, to help you achieve your five a day. This is much cheaper to make at home than ordering from a restaurant. And cooking in the air fryer means it is healthier than using a wok or frying pan as you don’t need to use any oil.

Dinner
Air Fryer Sausage & Red Pepper Bake
This air fryer sausage bake is a wonderfully warming dish that’s perfect for chilly autumn days or cold winter nights. The whole family will love it and will be looking for a second helping. This hearty dinner is a great recipe to get extra veggies on to your kids’ plate. The peppers, onions and tomatoes cook down into a lovely rich, thick gravy-like sauce. Which everyone adores. I just love to serve this dish with big chunks of fresh crusty bread. Ideal for mopping up all the lovely tomatoey sauce. But you could also serve it with mashed potatoes if you prefer. To make a veggie or vegan friendly version of this delicious dish, simply substitute the pork sausages for a plant based alternative. And leave out the Worcestershire sauce. This recipe is incredibly versatile and can be tailored to suit different dietary preferences and what you have available in your kitchen. It’s a great way to clear out your vegetable drawer and ensure nothing goes to waste. It’s also the perfect option for busy weeknights. When you want something nutritious and satisfying without spending hours in the kitchen.

Air Fryer Roast Chicken with Potatoes & Carrots
Yes it is true, you can cook a whole roast chicken dinner in an air fryer! I use a duel air fryer for this recipe, but it also works well with a large single basket air fryer, too.

Air Fryer Sweet Potato & Chickpea Curry
I just love the colour of sweet potatoes no matter how they are cooked, they are just so vibrant. I use frozen sweet potatoes for this curry, but you can of course use fresh ones if you prefer. The same goes for the spinach, if you don’t have fresh then pop in some nuggets of frozen spinach and add a little more cooking time.

Dinner
Air Fryer Sticky Beef & Noodles
I love to create fake-aways at home. I am always experimenting with some of the classic take-away dishes. This dish is one of the favourites in our house. It is sweet, sticky and delicious. And making it at home costs less than half the price of buying from our local takeaway.
