Air Fryer Sticky Beef & Noodles

I love to create fake-aways at home. I am always experimenting with some of the classic take-away dishes. This dish is one of the favourites in our house. It is sweet, sticky and delicious. And making it at home costs less than half the price of buying from our local takeaway.

Step 1

Remove the crisper plate from your air fryer and set it to 190C.

Step 2

Add the beef to the basket and break it up as much as you can with a wooden spoon. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally to help break the mince up a bit more as it cooks, so that it browns all over. If you have some fat left in the bottom at the end of the time, drain it off. (I get some kitchen paper and soak it up with that.)

Step 3

Add your green beans and peppers to the air fryer, along with the teriyaki sauce, and stir well. Cook for a further 10-12 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked through.

Step 4

Then add your noodles to the air fryer, along with the soy sauce and stir well. Cook for a final 3-5 minutes, until the noodles are piping hot and starting to caramelise a little.

Step 5

Serve the beef and noodles sprinkled with your sliced red chilli and spring onions. Don't forget the side of prawn crackers too.
