Step 1
Add chopped onion and garlic to a greased air fryer-safe dish. Spray lightly with oil and cook at 180°C for 4–5 mins, shaking halfway.
1 Small onion, finely chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
Olive oil
Step 2
Add the minced beef to the same dish, break it up with a spoon. Cook at 180°C for 7–8 minutes, stirring once or twice until browned.
250 g Minced beef (or veggie mince)
Step 3
Stir in passata, tomato purée, herbs, salt, and pepper. Cook again at 160°C (320°F) for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway. The sauce should reduce and thicken slightly.
200 g Passata or chopped tomatoes
1 tsp Dried Italian herbs
Salt
Pepper
Step 4
Assemble the lasagne in a heatproof dish that fits your air fryer. Start with a thin layer of meat sauce. Add lasagne sheets. Spread a layer of white sauce.
4–6 No-boil lasagne sheets (snap to fit your dish)
150–200 g Ready-made white (béchamel) sauce
Step 5
Repeat: meat → pasta → white sauce. Finish with white sauce and a generous sprinkle of cheese.
50 g Grated mozzarella or cheddar (for topping)
Step 6
Air fry at 170°C (340°F) for 20–25 mins. Cover loosely with foil for the first 15 mins. Uncover for the last 5–10 mins to get that golden, bubbly top.
Step 7
Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
