Air Fryer Marry Me Meatballs

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix together all the meatball ingredients until combined. Roll into evenly sized balls (You should get about 12–14).

500 g Beef mince

1 tsp Onion powder

1 tsp Garlic powder

40 g Breadcrumbs

30 g Parmesan

1 Egg

1 tsp Dried oregano

1 tsp Dried basil

Seasoning

1 tsp Garlic powder

Salt

Pepper

Step 2

Preheat air fryer to 190°C. Place meatballs in a single layer (cook in batches if needed) into a heat proof dish and lightly spray with oil.

Step 3

Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until browned and cooked through (internal temp 75°C). Remove and set aside.

Step 4

Add straight into the heat proof dish the cream, pesto, parmesan, oregano, sun-dried tomatoes and stir.

200 ml Double cream

1 tbsp Red pesto

50 g Parmesan

1 tsp Oregano

100 g Sun-dried tomatoes

Step 5

Cook on 190°C for 5–7 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.

Step 6

Add back into the heatproof dish your meatballs and stir.

Step 7

Cook for a further 5 minutes until the sauce is thicker and piping hot and enough time to have allowed the meatballs to soak up all that flavour.

Step 8

While the sauce and meatballs are cooking in your air fryer, place into a large bowl your pasta, along with enough boiling water to cover and leave for 3–5 minutes, then drain.

300 g Fresh pasta

Step 9

Serve in your pasta bowls along with your meatballs and sauce and garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan, maybe a sprinkle of chilli too.
