Air Fryer Mediterranean Lamb Kebabs

Bring a little taste of the Mediterranean to your kitchen with these delicious air-fried lamb kebabs. Tender pieces of diced lamb are marinated in a vibrant mix of garlic, lemon, oregano, cumin and smoked paprika, soaking up all those delicious Mediterranean flavours before being air fried until beautifully golden and charred on the outside, while staying juicy and tender inside. The best part? The air fryer gives you that deliciously charred kebab finish without firing up the barbecue, making these perfect for a quick midweek dinner or an easy weekend feast. Make extra! These lamb kebabs are perfect for batch cooking. Marinate a larger batch of lamb, portion it up and freeze it raw. Defrost safely in the fridge, then thread onto skewers and air fry when you're ready for a quick Mediterranean-style dinner.

Step 1

Add the diced lamb to a bowl with the olive oil, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, garlic, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Mix well and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or longer if you have time.

300 g Lamb

1 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Dried oregano

1 tsp Smoked paprika

1 tsp Ground cumin

1 tsp Ground coriander

1/2 tsp Garlic granules

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper

1/2 Lemon juice

Step 2

Thread the lamb onto two or three wooden skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water first to prevent them from burning.

Step 3

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.

Step 4

Place the lamb kebabs in the basket, making sure they aren't overcrowded. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until browned and cooked to your liking. Cooking time will depend on the size of the lamb pieces. Make sure the lamb is cooked safely through.

Step 5

Warm the flatbreads in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes.
