Air Fryer Chicken Pinchos (under 200 calories)

Juicy, spiced chicken skewers with that classic smoky, garlicky flavour, cooked in the air fryer until perfectly golden with those slightly charred edges. They’re simple but packed with flavour, and feel a little bit special without any extra effort. Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients and add the chicken with the oil, and coat well.

2 Chicken breasts

1 tbsp Olive oil

2 tsp Smoked paprika

2 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Ground cumin

1 tsp Dried oregano

1/2 tsp Turmeric

1/2 tsp Chilli flakes

1/2 Lemon juice

Pepper

Step 2

Leave for at least 20 minutes, or longer if you have time, or prepare the day before and leave in an airtight container in the fridge.

Step 3

Thread the chicken onto skewers; if using wooden skewers, soak them first.

Step 4

Place the skewers in the air fryer in a single layer and cook at 190°C for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway, until lightly charred on the edges and cooked through.

Step 5

Serve with flatbreads, salad, and a dollop of garlic mayo or yoghurt, and add a squeeze of lemon at the end to lift everything.
